They can help you work through these emotions and get to the root cause of these feelings. Unfortunately, instead of helping your sorrows go away, drinking actually drowns your positivity instead. However, a professional or someone you trust can help you work through your feelings and why you can not cope with difficult emotions. Try and analyze and observe your emotions. Once you start to observe them, your emotions do not have as much power over you.
